Our care system is fundamentally broken and needs radical change. We need a National Care Service, where care workers are valued, recognised and rewarded as skilled professionals. I am proud to sign UNISON’s National Care Service Pledge, which calls for a world-class National Care Service that is well-funded with a pay boost for all care workers.
